MSCI 343 is a Human Computer Interaction Course concerned with the design, implementation, and evaluation of interactive computing systems. This can involve anything from a typical mobile app to voice interaction and augmented reality. The common thread is that a human is involved, and that the system is designed for human needs and capabilities.

Problem

When companies design a POS system, the intent is to create a system that can be effectively distributed and implemented for various businesses. The uniqueness of each business using the system is consequently constrained to the design of their POS system, which is a source of frustrations among users.
