Hack the North is Canada's biggest hackathon. Every year, over 1100 students are given the opportunity to join a global community, create something amazing, and make lasting memories. From building their first app to creating a complex robotic arm, Hack the North welcomes all students and helps turn their ideas into reality.
From 2021-2022, I joined the organizing team as a Sponsorship Organizer. I helped secure 6-figure deals, helped launch a sponsor portal, and met with hundreds of sponsor representatives.
From 2022-2023, I returned as the Internal Operations Lead and Master of Ceremonies worked with logistics in executing our event and welcomed thousands of people to our campus.
In 2024, I'm currently serving as the Operations Advisor.
👋 Hey, I'm Serena - thanks for stopping by!
I do a lot of things - from being an organizer at Hack the North, managing the implementation of new
technology, to optimizing processes through data and automation, I'm always looking for a new learning
experience.
On my free time, I'm working away at my pottery studio, going on spontaneous trips all over the world,
playing call of duty, or struggling through a workout at the gym.
I'm always looking for new friends, experiences, and connections. Chat soon :)
